This chocolate chip recipe is the only way i make cookies. It tastes so good and it’s an easy clean-up; everything i love in baking recipes. Here’s how you do it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

INGREDIENTS:<\/mark><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • 1 C Shortening or softened butter<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1\/2 C White sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 C Brown Sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 2 Eggs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 2 C Flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 1\/2 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 2 C chocolate chips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    INSTRUCTIONS:<\/mark><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Preheat oven to 325\u00b0 F<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. In a large bowl, beat together shortening (or butter), white sugar and brown sugar until smooth with no clumps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Then, add the eggs one by one, mixing in between the two just until no egg is visible. Then add vanilla extract and mix until just combined. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda and salt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Add the dry ingredients (from step 4) to the wet ingredients and mix together until it forms a dough. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Add the chocolate chips to the dough and mix.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. grease 2 large baking sheets and, with a small ice-cream scoop or large spoon, take a portion of the cookie dough to form into balls (about 2 tablespoons worth) and place onto said sheet about 1 inch apart. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    8. Place the baking sheets in the oven for about 8-10 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    9. Once they’re ready, take them out to cool for about 5-10 minutes and enjoy!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
