Hershey’s Chocolate Cake

This “Perfectly Chocolate Chocolate cake” by Hershey’s company Hersheyland is the only chocolate cake recipe you’ll need in life. It’s light and airy with the perfect combination of sweetness to it. Below you’ll find the recipe, for more information on it, click here.
INGREDIENTS:
Dry Ingredients:
- 2 C White sugar
- 1 3/4 C All Purpose Flour
- 3/4 c Cocoa Powder
- 1 1/2 tsps baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsps Baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1 c Milk
- 1/2 vegetable oil
- 2 tsps vanilla extract
- 1 c boiling water
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 350° f
- In a large bowl, sift together all the dry ingredients listed above.
- Then, incorporate all the wet ingredients (minus the boiling water) and mix on medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the water little by little until combined (the batter will be thin).
- Take and grease 2 9-inch round baking pans and pour the batter in to the both of them equally.
- Put pans in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes until the sides don’t stick to the pan.
- Once fully cooked, remove the cake from the oven and let it sit to cool for at least 10 minutes before icing or eating it.
